Help Create a
Park Plaza Women's Conversation Circle
Introduction: Park Plaza has been my home at 4944 Boxer Blvd. for 40 years. In 1985 I had just relocated from Wisconsin with my three children, aged 16, 9 and 6 and we moved into our townhome. They grew up here and attended Clayton Valley High, Pine Hollow Jr. High and Silverwood Elementary School (They have now moved to Southern CA, Indiana and Texas.) When I first moved here, I joined the Homeowner's Association Board and served for several years that enabled me to meet and get to know many of my neighbors. However, over the years as people moved in and out of the neighborhood I've lost touch with most of my neighbors with the exception of my immediate neighbors and a couple others. I feel that with over 100 families living here in Park Plaza, it would be enjoyable to actually get to know the many women who live here. I recently met a new Park Plaza resident who lives on Newhall Parkway and explored with her the idea of forming a Women's Conversation Circle. Since she is new to Park Plaza, she thought it would be a great idea to get to know other women neighbors. If there is an interest we could survey the women who express an interest to see what date(s) and time(s) would work best for most. Since we have two large common areas and the days are getting longer, we could each bring a folding chair to one of the designated common areas and form a circle at a date and time that would work for most.
Therefore, I've created this page as a way to determine if there is an interest in creating a
Park Plaza Women's Conversation Circle.
